Frequently Asked Questions

  • Once clients reach out to me I connect with them over email to set up a free 15 minute consultation. This is a time for me to learn more about your therapeutic goals and how we might work together. If we decide to move forward, we will schedule an initial appointment.

After scheduling an appointment I send you paperwork via a secure platform which you can fill out prior to our appointment.

The initial appointment is usually focused on assessment so I ask a lot of questions and is usually different from a typical therapy session with me.

At that point therapy becomes more tailored to you, your unique circumstances, and goals for therapy.

  • I do not take insurance at this time, however I am able to provide superbills which can be submitted to insurance companies. Every insurance company is different so you can check with your insurance company to see if they cover “out of network” mental health services.

  • $180/50 minutes for individuals

    $180/50 minutes for couples

  • I am only offering telehealth at this time.

  • Sessions are typically 50 minutes long. I also offer 80 minute appointments.

  • ICBT and ERP are frontline treatments for OCD therapy.

Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT): Focuses on how your thoughts are formed and disrupts the OCD cycle before it begins.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP): Often considered the “gold standard” of OCD treatment. ERP focuses on incrementally increasing your distress tolerance while not engaging in your compulsions. This helps your brain and body realize that the anxiety will decrease on its own without the need for compulsions.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for OCD: Focuses on creating space for your anxiety and changing your relationship to your anxiety.
